About WASW
Washington Action for Safe Water is a non-profit Washington State group committed to helping fluoridated communities roll back fluoridation and to helping communities not yet fluoridated to prevent fluoridation.
Our goal is to provide fluoridation opponents with the research, the letters, the Freedom of Information requests, the pleadings, and the court briefs which will help them and their attorneys bring an end to the backward and crude vice which is drinking water fluoride.
Currently, WASW is proposing rulemaking to the Board of Health and making a rulemaking appeal to Governor Christine Gregoire.
Members of WASW are available to speak to health and public officials about current research in regard to fluoride and its implications for the policy of fluoridation.
WASW maintains that fluoridation of public water supplies denies each individual the right to choose and violates the established policy of informed consent.
